What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
I was a foreign exchange student in Germany and am certified fluent in German.

What is your favorite food? Why did you pick this as your favorite?
Chicken – there are endless ways to make it.

What are two of your favorite hobbies?
Fishing and reading.

If you could choose any animal to be, what would it be and why?
Killer Whale because they are the kings of the sea!

What gets you out of bed every morning?
The opportunity to grow and do better every day.

Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give your younger self?
From The Four Agreements: Don’t take things personally.

What is your personal mantra?
Seek to understand, rather than to be understood.

When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?
An accountant.

What does your morning routine look like?
Wake up, drink matcha, and get ready.

What kind of activities do you like to do with your friends or family?
Fishing on the coast. Croquet in the yard. Crafting – artisan soaps and paper quilling.

If you won the lottery and had a million dollars, what would you do with it?
Go back to school.

What was your favorite vacation?
With my mom in New Orleans, LA.

If you could have dinner with any person from any time period, who would it be and why?
My dad, he passed away last year.

If you were to write a memoir, what would the title be?
Awkward As A Lifestyle

What made you want to work where you’re at now?
The endless variety in staffing.

Before working at your current job, what was the most interesting job you had?
Working a brain wave research facility at the U of O.

What do you look forward to most when you walk into work?
Helping people who are struggling.

What is your favorite thing about your job?
Seeing new people every day.

What’s unique about the culture at your company?
Direct communication is valued.

What advice would you give to someone looking for a job right now?
Follow up (and sometimes again!) on the jobs you apply for.

What do you find most rewarding about your job?
People yelling they are so excited to be hired on with our agency.

What led you to a career in staffing?
A friend who worked here encouraged me to apply.

What have you gained from working where you’re at?
A better understanding of the industries at work in our area.

What is your proudest moment at your job?
Watching people walk away crying they are so happy to have a job.
