How do I apply for a job with Selectemp?
You may come into our office to apply and hopefully interview immediately after completing your application OR you can Apply Online Now.
Does Selectemp charge any fees to its employees?
No! Selectemp does not charge our employees any fees.
Are all Selectemp jobs temporary?
The majority of our jobs are “temp-to-hire,” meaning they are intended to become regular, ongoing positions after a certain time period. Selectemp also hires for projects. These positions tend to last for a specified duration.
Where can I find an office near me?
Selectemp has offices in Eugene/Springfield, Salem, Albany/Corvallis, Bend, Portland/Tigard and Roseburg. Visit our Locations page for full details
How should I dress when applying in Selectemp’s office?
All applicants should dress appropriately for the specific type of position that they want. There are many occasions when an applicant will complete the interview with a Staffing Manager, and then have the opportunity to either begin work immediately or have the opportunity to leave our office and go for another interview with one of our clients.
How much experience do I need to get a job?
Necessary experience depends upon the position that you are applying for. Not all of our positions require a specific skill set. Some have opportunities for on-the-job training, while other positions require verifiable and practical work experience.
What kinds of jobs does Selectemp have available?

Do I need to get a pre-employment drug-screen?
While Selectemp is a drug-free workplace based on federal guidelines, a pre-placement drug screen may or may not be administered following certain employer guidelines as directed by the client at the time of placement.
What are Selectemp’s hours?
Selectemp’s office hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
A Selectemp representative is available 24 hours a day for emergency contact. Selectemp also has a 24 hour answering service available to personally take each phone call. All messages are delivered to office staff to be handled as quickly as needed. See our Locations page to contact your local office.
What happens if I move?
Selectemp has offices throughout the state of Oregon. Once you’ve been employed in one location, you are eligible to work in all offices, as long as you have left your assignment with Selectemp on good terms.
Once I am placed on assignment, how will I be paid?
To eliminate payday hassles for our employees, Selectemp offer two convenient ways to receive your paycheck. We offer direct deposit into your personal bank account or onto a Pay Card that we will issue to you.
