What’s one thing most people don’t know about you? – One of my tattoos was a feature at a Comicon on the east coast around 2014-2015. Definitely helped my artist get more clients, it was really cool.
What is your favorite food? Why did you pick this as your favorite? – Always pizza! It can have so many different toppings, and never get tired of it.
What are two of your favorite hobbies? – I’m honestly pretty boring outside of work. I do play video games, I prefer the older systems, SNES, Atari, and original Nintendo.
If you could choose any animal to be, what would it be and why? A Phoenix resonates with me because I have had to rise from the ashes several times in my life.
What is your personal mantra? I don’t have to know everything, I just have to know enough people who know something.
When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up? Pilot in the Air Force
What kind of activities do you like to do with your friends or family? We play hand and foot (card game) a lot as a family, My friends and I primarily just hang out and talk.
What was your favorite vacation? We traveled a lot when I was growing up and honestly, each vacation has moments in it that are incomparable to the other. I couldn’t pick one.
If you could have dinner with any person from any time period, who would it be and why? My father. We don’t always get along but I want to spend as much time as I can with him before I can’t anymore.

What made you want to work at Selectemp? I was pretty much done with I.T. I was a top performer in my department and there wasn’t really anywhere for me to go from there. I needed a challenge.
What do you look forward to most when you walk into work? Getting to dispatch someone and then getting the confirmation they are at work.
What’s unique about the culture at Selectemp? It’s a close-knit team – we each get to know each other and our stories
What do you find most rewarding about your job at Selectemp? Those handfuls of candidates who are truly struggling and just need some help, when you do find them a job and it’s like the perfect fit for them. I love when they come to the realization that they can still be successful.
What led you to a career in staffing? I go with my heart so when I got offered this I was already leaning towards trying it out however, I also live on spite and I had some people tell me I’d never be able to succeed at staffing. So then I wanted to prove them wrong.
What have you gained from working at Selectemp? It has restored my belief that most people are good, it’s not all bad.
What is your proudest moment at your job? I’m really proud of how well our Branch is doing. I feel like we can definitely take the market by storm with the momentum we have. I also review my numbers weekly and seeing my growth from when I started in May always makes me happy.
